Dean’s List…

CIMG0049

I’m pleased to announce that I, Jason J. C’Ham have been added to the Dean’s List at American University’s School of Communications.

I must thank Dean Kirkman for his kind letter of congratulations.

Also!  Today I’m going up to visit the Fogartys, which I’m very much looking forward to!

Also, I was going through some photos, and laughed at this image I created for some post on here.  I think is still funny!

Enjoy the weather!  It’s Beautiful!

Oh!  I’ll be praying for Jon, since he’ll be in Peru for the next 10 days!  Faraway from his love!

Kristin Update

July 18, 2007 at 3:40 pm (Ancient History from my Xanga)

Just a quick note about Kristin:

she went to the dentist today, and they discovered a gash in her lower lip, inside the gash, was glass from somewhere in the car.  Minor surgery washed out the wound and she now has 5 more stitches to add to her collection.

Her foot was swelling up again after an optimistic, but ultimately unwise decision to go out to dinner with Jon.  She let her foot down too long.

thats the news!

Kristin Status Report

July 13, 2007 at 3:42 pm (Ancient History from my Xanga) (, )

Kristin status report…

Thanks so much for your concerns and prayers! Thankfully, Kristin will be headed home from the hospital this afternoon at some point. However, there has been one setback. When she tried to stand up yesterday, she reported pain in her right leg, which doctors had pretty much ignored because most of the other injuries where on the left leg. Xrays are now indicating that she fractured her right leg too, however, I’m not sure which bone. This is hard for her, since she will now be wheelchair bound for a few weeks, which will be a struggle for her as an athlete, and for any kind of mobility.

Spiritually the whole family is doing well, by God’s grace, we’re more amazing by God’s mercy in preserving her, than concerned by what injuries she does have.

Thanks for your care!

Kristin…

Well friends, this is a very eventful time in our lives – particularly for kristin.

Last Saturday, we celebrated July 7, 2007, or 7.7.07 with the Riddlesbergers, as we always do on special dates like that!

We (Scott, rather) even fired the cannon, above.

After they left, that same day, Jon Solomon asked Dad’s permission to court Kristin!

IMGP1267

Dad said yes.  They are now courting!

Two days later, Kristin got in a car accident.  See below for details!

Kristin’s Car Accident

July 11, 2007 at 3:34 pm (Ancient History from my Xanga) (, )

Kristin’s Car Accident…

Hey there,
I just wanted to let you know that Kristin had a car accident this
morning at 6am, and is recovering from several fairly minor injuries.

Evidently she fell asleep at the wheel this morning, after dropping off
Jesse at the church to help with Summer Celebration.  She hit a telephone
poll, but managed to actually wrap the car around the next poll down.  The
firemen soon arrived and cut the roof and doors off the car to get her out,
but miraculously, she only a broken tibia, and several other broken bones in
her foot.  She has a deep 5 inch long gash below her knee which is probably
connected somehow with her other injuries to her legs.  Her front two lower
teeth have also been knocked loose by the force, but her jaw is fine.
Currently doctors believe that she has a concussion and that her brain is
swelling as a result.  There are several other very minor burns, cuts, and
bruises caused by the airbags and seatbelt, however, apart from these
injuries, she seems to be fine.

God was very kind to us today as, judging by the car, things could have
been much worse!
