New Funeral Speaking order… ca. 2008

So, in case you didn’t know I’m running for Student Government President.

It just so happened that the day I decided to run, the History channel decided to do a series on the Kennedy Assassination, which resulted in dreams of me getting assassinated on the campus of AU, while riding in a lincoln convertable.  (Sadly I woke up before my mental history channel got to the part about how I was shot… and by whom, and from how many different angles.  I was very dissapointed.)  But all this reminded me how I really do need to update my funeral speaking list.  So this is my most recent will in testament for my funeral.

1. Mr. Colin Meiselman – 5 mins.
2. Mr. Stephen Boisvert – 2 mins.
3. Mr. Danny Mays - 3 mins.
4. Mr. Tage Danielson – 5 mins.
5. Ms. Sarah Gmeiner - 5 mins.
6. Mr. David Somerville – 5 mins
7. Mr. Bob Schickler (Message)

I think that should work.  I guess I’ll never know, but knowing all these people, they should be able to think up something to say during that allotted period of time.  Feel free to lie if need be.

Thanks!

Quoted in the Campus paper

February 11, 2008 at 4:01 pm (Ancient History from my Xanga)

Hey Friends, I was quoted in our campus newspaper – this breaks a ban they had on printing my name ever since I took their editor-in-chief to task for being generally corrupt.  But that all changed today when they actually printed my name in the paper…  here is the article:

The Undergraduate Senate passed a bill to allow students to use Blackboard to monitor their EagleBuck$ accounts and discussed extending hours at the Student Health Center at its meeting Sunday.

The Electronic Access Guarantee to Legitimate Expenses Act asks Housing and Dining Programs to upgrade the Blackboard system to allow students to monitor their EagleBuck$ expenses, said Jason Cunningham, the class of 2009 senator who wrote and presented the bill.

This Blackboard upgrade was one of Student Government President Joe Vidulich’s top priorities for the semester. Vidulich said he wants to see it piloted this semester.

“I wanted to make it easier for people to check the balance of their EagleBuck$ and add money to their EagleBuck$ online,” he said. “With the upgrade, you can go on and see where the money is being spent if you lose your ID.”

Housing and Dining was going to upgrade Blackboard by this semester but have not made any changes yet. The bill illustrates the importance of this issue to students’ financial transparency and well-being and works to speed up the upgrade process, Cunningham said.

Vidulich said he is meeting with Chris Moody, director of Housing and Dining, Thursday to discuss the Blackboard upgrades.

The next Undergraduate Senate meeting will take place this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Kogod room 118.
