Presidential Election loss message…
Election loss message…
Here is a very kind message from John C. a collegue from college. I found this note very encouraging, I think you’ll agree.
“First of all man, congratulations, in all seriousness…Seth probably should have received over 50% of the vote given his popularity at school and the people he works with.
I want to let you know two things:
Most importantly, you did an excellent job and worked harder than anyone else, that’s all I heard people talk about and I could see it from the fact that you didn’t just rely on your friends to run a campaign. Had this election been on the issues, there is no doubt in my mind you would have won.
Second thing: I voted for you, you were the John Edwards/Mike Huckabee of the race.
Hope you had a good night and well done. You’ll be super successful in the long run, the smart ones always are.
-John”
That was very kind of him to say, and I appreciate it very much.
Presidential Election results
Election results…
As is increasingly common in my life, I lost the election by a near landslide.
Here are the stats:
Seth Cutter-471-36.2%
Jason Cunningham-276-21.2%
Jillian Rubino-255-19.6%
Ohema Nyanin-242-18.6%
I lost by a cool 200 votes. With this loss I happily announce my retirement from public life. Yes, 21 is terribly young to be retiring from anything, but if you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen, and this week has clearly shown that I am not cut-out to play dishonest and insincere campus politics.
I will be at home next week, for Spring Break.
